Holi 2024 Celebrations!

Sunday, 24th March, 2024
Darji Samaj Sydney hosted its second annual Holi celebration on Sunday, 24th March 2024, at the “Wida-la” shed in Bungarribee Park – turning the space into a lively hub of colors, laughter, and community spirit.
From around 10 AM, families and friends began arriving, greeted by the bright Darji Samaj banner and the cheerful buzz of Holi excitement. The celebration kicked off with the classic tradition of applying vibrant colors, hugs, and warm greetings – setting the tone for a day full of joy and connection.
Kids brought an extra layer of fun, running around with water balloons and creating mini splashes of chaos that had everyone smiling. Throughout the morning, plenty of photos were snapped to capture the colorful memories.
After hours of fun and color play, the community gathered for a relaxed, shared lunch. Everyone brought along delicious homemade food, turning it into a cheerful Dabba Party. Dishes were passed around, stories were shared, and the sense of togetherness was stronger than ever.

Celebrating Holi for the second year in a row, this event truly highlighted the unity, culture, and growing bond within the Darji Samaj Sydney community.
